WHAT ARE PRE-DRYWALL INSPECTIONS?
Pre-drywall new construction inspections are evaluations performed on a home during the early stages of construction. These inspections aim to identify and repair any issues with the home’s components after rough electrical, plumbing, and HVAC is installed and before drywall goes up. Issues are easiest to visualize and repair at this stage of construction.
WHY SHOULD I GET THIS SERVICE?
Our professional inspectors have extensive experience in construction and building methods. During a pre-drywall inspection, the inspector spends several hours examining the plumbing, electrical, structure, HVAC systems, foundation, roof, and more to ensure that they are installed correctly and with quality. Many builders don’t allow inspectors on the roof at this time, so our FAA-licensed inspectors will use high-quality drones to inspect the roof closely. We will also assess the quality of the construction work and document findings in a report that the buyer can hand directly to the builder for repair requests. This type of inspection is critical because it allows the correction of any issues before they become more significant and costly to fix later on.
WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING
“I had to get a pre-drywall inspection completed, and got recommended to Brown & Co. Jim was absolutely awesome, you could tell he was well educated, and took the time to educate myself through some of the process. He was super thorough and will be working with him for future inspections on my home.”
