WHAT IS A SEWER SCOPE INSPECTION?

Our specially-trained home inspectors perform sewer scope inspections by threading a long, flexible camera into the home’s main plumbing drain to identify leaks, broken pipes, blockages, improper plumbing material, and more. A video is recorded and placed within the inspection report, along with potential recommendations for repair or further evaluation by a plumber.

WHY SHOULD I GET THIS
SERVICE?

A sewer repair can be one of the most costly and inconvenient repairs a homeowner can face. A home buyer should consider a sewer scope inspection on homes over 30 years of age, if there are large trees (and roots) in the yard, evidence of pest control issues within the home, random patches of green grass, evidence of mold, a foul smell, or evidence/knowledge of improper drainage such as frequent clogging of toilets or backup into showers.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

“We are first time home buyers, and our home is almost 100 years old. There was a sewer evaluation done with our historic home, and we found a blockage that the sellers were able to clear for us. This was one of the few concerns we had after putting our offer on our house, so it was so helpful that Brown & Co could help with this. We bought our house with such peace of mind.”
